Crankshaft Damper (Unit Repair): Installation
2004 Oldsmobile Bravada AWDSECTION Installation

- Lubricate front oil seal and seal surface of crankshaft balancer with engine oil supplement.NOTE: Misalignment of the keyway may cause damage to oil pump.
- Install damper onto crankshaft indexing keyway use care to properly align keyway and flats on the damper with oil pump drive.
- Install new retaining bolt and washer using Crankshaft Pulley Holder J38122A and breaker bar to hold crakshaft.
Torque:
Crankshaft Pulley Bolt: 100 N.m (74 ft-lbs) + 75°
