Repair Instructions: Support: Installation

2004 Oldsmobile Bravada AWDSECTION Installation

  1. Position the rear suspension support in place. See Figure.
  2. Install the rear wheel spindle rod-to-rear suspension support bolts and nuts. Tighten the nuts to 140 N.m (103 lb ft).
  3. Install the rear suspension support mounting bolts. Tighten the bolts to 110 N.m (81 lb ft).
  4. Position the rear wheel spindle rod to the knuckle.
  5. Install the retaining bolts and nuts to the knuckle. Tighten the nut to 150 N.m (110 lb ft).
  6. Install the stabilizer shaft to the rear suspension support. See STABILIZER SHAFT .
  7. Connect the brake lines to the rear suspension support. See REAR BRAKE HOSE .
  8. Install the parking brake cables and the tensioner. See PARK BRAKE CABLE .
  9. Install the exhaust pipe.
  10. Install the tires and wheels.
  11. Lower the vehicle.
  12. Adjust the rear wheel alignment. See SPECIFICATIONS .
