Spindle Rod: Installation

2004 Oldsmobile Bravada AWDSECTION Installation

  1. Install the spindle rod to the vehicle. See Figure.
  2. Install the spindle rod to the knuckle.
  3. Install the spindle rod to knuckle bolt and nut. Tighten the nut to 150 N.m (110 lb ft).
  4. Install the spindle rod to the rear suspension support.
  5. Install the bolt and nut to the rear suspension support. See Figure. Tighten the bolt to 140 N.m (103 lb ft).
  6. Install the rear suspension support. See SUPPORT .
  7. Install the tire and wheel assembly.
  8. Lower the vehicle.
  9. Adjust the wheel toe angle. See SPECIFICATIONS .
