  1. Locate current geographic location (zone map) using world magnetic variation map. See Fig 1. Locate compass switch button. Depending on mirror model, switch button will be marked with COMP, COMPASS or ON/OFF.
  2. Turn ignition on, with engine off. Press and hold switch until a zone number appears on compass display. Depress compass switch to select desired zone map number. Wait 5 seconds. Mirror display will return to a compass reading. Variance procedure is complete. Calibrate compass. Go to COMPASS CALIBRATION .
