2004 Oldsmobile Bravada AWDSECTION Diagnostic Procedure

  1. Install scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC), located under left side of instrument panel. If scan tool powers up, go to next step. If scan tool does not power up, inspect and repair data link communication circuits.
  2. Turn ignition on. If scan tool communicates with SDM, go to next step. If scan tool does not communicate with SDM, inspect and repair data link communications circuits.
  3. If scan tool displays DTC's, diagnose and repair applicable SIR DTC's. See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) IDENTIFICATION  table. If scan tool does not display any DTC's, go to SIR SYMPTOMS .
