2004 Oldsmobile Bravada AWDSECTION Removal (3.0L)

NOTE:
To avoid getting water and debris into the spark plug holes, use compressed air and a shop rag to blow off the ignition module before the assembly is removed. Bolts can be screwed into the ignition module to aid when removing the module from the cylinder head.
- Remove intake manifold. See INTAKE MANIFOLD & SPACER (3.0L) under AIR INDUCTION SYSTEMS. With support, install Debris Screen (J45482). See Figure . Disconnect EI module harness connector.
- Remove ignition module attachment bolts. See Figure . Remove the ignition module housing assembly with spark plug boots. Remove ignition module assembly gasket if it does not come out with the module.
