- Apply rubber lubricant to the bushing and spring eye.
- Place the leaf spring in a press. Press the bushing into spring eye. See Figure .
- Install the leaf spring assembly to the vehicle. See LEAF SPRING . Tighten fasteners to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Remove the safety stands.
- Lower the vehicle.
