2004 Oldsmobile Bravada AWDSECTION Removal & Installation

  1. Remove the push-in retainers from the Insulator Panel (IP) insulator to instrument panel. Remove the press-on retainers from the IP insulator to dash mat. Unsnap the IP courtesy lamp from the IP insulator. Remove the IP insulator from the instrument panel.
  2. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the accelerator pedal. Remove the fasteners holding the accelerator pedal to the bulk head. See Fig 1 . Remove the accelerator pedal. To install, reverse removal procedures. Tighten accelerator bolts and studs to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  3. Check for complete throttle opening and closing positions by operating the accelerator pedal. Also inspect the carpet fit under the accelerator pedal. Reinstall the left instrument panel sound insulator.
