- Ignition is ON.
- Vehicle speed is zero MPH.
- Engine speed is less than 40 RPM.
- Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) is 41-212°F (5-100°C).
- Intake Air Temperature (IAT) is greater than 41°F (5°C).
- Battery voltage is greater than 10 volts.
- Accelerator Pedal Position (APP) is less than 15 percent.
