Ensure vehicle meets the following conditions before performing procedure:

  • Barometric pressure is greater than 22 in. Hg (75 kPa).
  • Engine coolant temperature is less than 84°F (29°C).
  • Difference between IAT and ECT is 13°F (7°C) or less.
  • Battery voltage is 9-16 volts.
  • Fuel level is 1/4-3/4.

Test will initiate only after a cold start.
