2004 Oldsmobile Bravada AWDSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Position the sunroof in the fully closed position.
  2. Remove the headliner. Refer to HEADLINER REPLACEMENT .
  3. Disconnect the sunroof harness from the body harness at the right rear pillar.
  4. Disconnect the front drain hose connections from the sunroof housing.
  5. Disconnect the rear drain hose connections from the sunroof housing.
  6. Remove the 4 sunroof module bracket to side rail bolts.

  8. Remove the 6 sunroof module to roof bolts.
  9. Remove the sunroof module at the actuator bracket bolt (center rear).

    Important:  Use two white nylon locator pins in order to correctly position the sunroof module and temporarily hold the module in place.

  10. Squeeze the locator pins and pull down on the sunroof module to disengage the two locator/retainers.
  11. Remove the sunroof module from the vehicle through the door opening.
