Preliminary Procedure

  1. Remove the steering column upper trim cover. Refer to Steering Column Upper Trim Cover Replacement .
  2. Remove the ignition lock cylinder bulb. Refer to Ignition Lock Cylinder Bulb Replacement .
1 Theft Deterrent Module Assembly

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  2. Program the theft deterrent control module after replacement. Refer to Control Module References .
