2004 Oldsmobile Bravada AWDSECTION Removal Procedure

IMPORTANT:
There are 2 fuel level sensor assemblies in the fuel tank. There is one located on each fuel pump module. The fuel level sensors are NOT the same for each of the fuel pump modules.
- Remove the fuel pump module. Refer to Fuel Tank Fuel Pump Module Replacement .
- Disconnect the fuel level sensor electrical connector (1) from the fuel tank fuel pump module cover.
- Remove the fuel level sensor wiring from behind the retaining features (1) molded into the fuel tank fuel pump module reservoir.
- Slide the fuel level sensor up and remove the sensor from the fuel tank fuel pump module.
- Place the fuel level sensor on a clean work surface.
- Push in the fuel level sensor retainers (1), in order to remove the sensor from the cover.
- Remove the fuel level sensor (2) from the cover (3).
