Preliminary Procedure

  1. Review the high voltage safety information prior to performing the High Voltage Disabling procedure. Refer to High Voltage Safety .
  2. Disable the high voltage system. Refer to High Voltage Disabling .
  3. Remove the battery terminal cover. Refer to Battery Terminal Cover Replacement .
1 Drive Motor Generator Battery Control Module Fastener (Qty: 4)
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten:  6 N.m (55 lb in)

2 Drive Motor Generator Battery Control Module

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  2. Enable the high voltage system. Refer to High Voltage Enabling .
  3. If replacing, reprogram the control module. Refer to Control Module References
