Preliminary Procedures

  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (Static Fill) or Draining and Filling Cooling System (GE 47716 Fill) .
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .

Tighten:  22 N.m (16 lb ft)

Tip: 
  1. Using SA9111E  reposition the hose clamps on the generator control module coolant pump.
  2. Remove the hoses from the generator control module coolant pump.
