Removal Procedure
2004 Oldsmobile Bravada AWDSECTION Removal Procedure

- Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to BATTERY REPLACEMENT in Engine Electrical.
- Remove the center instrument trim panel. Refer to TRIM PLATE REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) ACCESSORY LEFT in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
- Remove the instrument compartment. Refer to COMPARTMENT REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
- Remove the front floor console. Refer to TRIM PLATE REPLACEMENT - FRONT FLOOR CONSOLE in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
- Push in the retaining clip, then disconnect the cable from the shifter assembly.
- Using a screwdriver, disconnect the park lock cable from the bracket.
- Disconnect the shift select cable from the manual selector lever.
- Using a screwdriver, disconnect the shift select cable from the shift lever plate.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors, then the wire harness clip.
- Remove the 4 nuts, then the manual selector from the vehicle.
