WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 2005 Isuzu Ascender, 2005 GMC Envoy XUV, 2005 GMC Envoy XL, 2005 GMC Envoy, and 2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The numbers below refer to the step numbers on the diagnostic table.

  1. 2:  A DTC P0602 indicates that the ECM is not programmed.
  1. 5:  Resistance is measured at the pedal assembly because a pedal resistance that is lower than the specified value will set this DTC.
DTC P060D

Does DTC P0602 reset?
- Go to Step 7  Go to Step 8
  1. Turn OFF the ignition.
  2. Disconnect the accelerator pedal connector.
  3. Ensure that the pedal is at the rest position.
  4. Measure the resistance from the 5-volt reference of the accelerator pedal assembly to the accelerator pedal position (APP) sensor 2 signal of the accelerator pedal assembly with a DMM. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.
Is the resistance less than the specified value?
450 ohm Go to Step 6  Go to Step 7
6 Replace the accelerator pedal assembly. Refer to Accelerator Pedal Position (APP) Sensor Replacement .
Did you complete the replacement?
- Go to Step 8  -
7 Replace the ECM. Refer to Control Module References in Computer/Integrating Systems for replacement, setup, and programming.
Did you complete the replacement?
- Go to Step 8  -
