Power roof relearn will be necessary anytime the power roof module (PRM) or power roof motor has been replaced. The power roof will be relearned when the PRM learns the full open and full close positions.

To relearn the power roof:

  1. Follow instructions on the scan tool under Special Functions, Roof Auto Relearn.
  2. If the PRM terminates the relearn procedure and displays the message SEE SERVICE MANUAL, proceed to the following steps.
  3. Exit the Roof Auto Relearn procedure.
  4. Select Open/Close Roof.
  5. Using the Open/Close Roof command, fully open the roof.
  6. Using the Open/Close Roof command, fully close the roof making sure that the roof latches.
  7. Exit the Open/Close Roof procedure.
  8. Rerun the Roof Auto Relearn procedure.
