2004 Oldsmobile Bravada AWDSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Clean the floor panel to ensure the mounting location is free of dirt or debris.

  3. Remove the protective backing to the adhesive strip on the bottom of the sensor (1).
  4. The mounting location for the sensor is on the floor panel, 55mm (2in) (A) forward of the electrical harness channel, 126mm (5in) (B) inboard from the electrical harness channel. Attach the sensor to the floor panel.

  6. Connect the sensor (1) electrical sensor.
  7. Position the carpet to the original location.
  8. Install the right child restraint tether anchors. Refer to Child Restraint Tether Anchor Replacement - Rear No. 1 (TrailBlazer, Envoy, Bravada) or Child Restraint Tether Anchor Replacement - Rear No. 1 (TrailBlazer EXT, Envoy XL) in Seat Belts.
  9. Install the right lower rear quarter trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter - Right (TrailBlazer EXT, Envoy XL) or Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter - Right (Trailblazer, Envoy, Rainier) in Interior Trim.
  10. Install the right center pillar trim panel. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Center Pillar in Interior Trim.
  11. Install the lift gate door sill plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement - Liftgate in Interior Trim.
  12. Install the right rear door sill plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement - Rear (TrailBlazer EXT, Envoy XL, Envoy XUV) or Door Sill Plate Replacement - Rear (Trailblazer, Envoy, Rainier) in Interior Trim.
  13. Install the right seat back. Refer to Seat Back Replacement - Rear No. 1 (TrailBlazer EXT, Envoy XL, Envoy XUV) or Seat Back Replacement - Rear No. 1 (TrailBlazer, Envoy, Rainier) in Seats.
  14. Install the navigation control processor bracket. Refer to Navigation Control Processor Bracket Replacement (TrailBlazer EXT, Envoy XL) or Navigation Control Processor Bracket Replacement (Trailblazer, Envoy, Rainier) in Cellular Communication.
  15. Install the communication interface module. Refer to Communication Interface Module Replacement (TrailBlazer EXT, Envoy XL) or Communication Interface Module Replacement (Trailblazer, Envoy, Rainier) in Cellular Communication.
  16. Install the right rear seat cushion. Refer to Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear No. 1 (TrailBlazer, Envoy, Rainier) in Seats.
  17. Arm the CTD system and check for proper operation. Refer to Content Theft Deterrent (CTD) Description and Operation .
