2004 Oldsmobile Bravada AWDSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the midgate wedge (2) to the vehicle.
  2. Install the screw (1) retaining the wedge to the body.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screw only until the wedge cannot rock up and down, but can slide fore and aft.

  3. Slide the midgate wedge as far forward as possible.
  4. Close the midgate assembly to set the wedge adjustment.
  5. Open the midgate.
  6. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  7. Fully tighten the midgate wedge screw.

    Tighten:  Tighten the midgate wedge screw to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
