- Install the midgate weatherstrip to the vehicle.
- Locate and install the midgate weatherstrip mold to the body by installing the push-pins (1).
- Align the paint dots (2) on the weatherstrip to the sheet metal joints of the window channel.
- Press the weatherstrip into the midgate window channel beginning at the alignment locations (2), and working around the window channel.
- Press the weatherstrip onto the lower pinch-weld flange, working around the lower midgate opening.
- Slide the retaining clips (1) down on the sliding hinge panel to release the sliding hinge panel.
- Close the midgate.
