- Remove the liftgate window garnish molding. Refer to GARNISH MOLDING REPLACEMENT - REAR WINDOW in Interior Trim.
- Remove the liftgate trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - LIFT GATE .
- Disconnect the electrical connectors (3) from the module as necessary.
- Remove the bolts that retain the module to the liftgate.
- Remove the module from the liftgate.
