- Open the liftgate window.
- Remove the screws that retain the liftgate applique.
- Close the liftgate window.IMPORTANT: Do not open the liftgate with the liftgate glass open.
- Close the liftgate window and open the liftgate.
- Remove the liftgate applique from the liftgate pinch-weld flange.
