2004 Oldsmobile Bravada AWDSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Lubricate the O-ring seal of the VSS with clean engine oil.
  2. Install the VSS into the hole on the axle case.
  3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Install the VSS retaining bolt the differential.

    Tighten:  Tighten the vehicle speed sensor retaining bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  6. Connect the electrical connector to the sensor.
  7. Install the RH muffler assembly. Refer to Muffler Replacement - Right in Engine Exhaust.
  8. Lower the vehicle.
