Installation Procedure
2004 Oldsmobile Bravada AWDSECTION Installation Procedure

- Position the lift gate hinges to the marked location points on the lift gate, with an assistant.
- Install the bolts (1) to the lift gate hinges (2), with an assistant.
Tighten: Tighten the lift gate hinge bolts to 19.5 N.m (14 lb ft).
- Support the lift gate.
- Install the lift gate struts. Refer to Strut Replacement - Liftgate .
- Install the rear wiper relay (1) with bracket (4), secure relay with screws (3).
- Install the lift gate harness. Refer to Wiring Harness Replacement - Liftgate .
- Install the high mount stop lamp. Refer to High Mounted Stop Lamp Replacement .
- Install the lift gate window latch. Refer to Latch Replacement - Liftgate Window .
- Install the lift gate latch. Refer to Latch Replacement - Liftgate .
- Install the license lamps. Refer to License Lamp Replacement .
- Install the lift gate applique. Refer to Liftgate Applique Replacement .
- Install the lift gate window weather-strip. Refer to Liftgate Applique Replacement .
- Install the lift gate window. Refer to Window Replacement - Liftgate .
- Install the lift gate window struts. Refer to Strut Replacement - Liftgate Window .
- Install the wiper motor assembly. Refer to Wiper Motor Replacement - Liftgate .
- Install the roof and mid spoilers, if removed. Refer to Spoiler Replacement - Rear (Roof) or Spoiler Replacement - Rear (Mid) in Body Rear End.
- Install the lift gate trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Liftgate .
- Close lift gate.
- Install the rear wiper arm. Refer to Wiper Arm Replacement - Rear .
