2004 Oldsmobile Bravada AWDSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the liftgate latch (3) to the liftgate.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the bolts (4) to the liftgate latch (3).

    Tighten:  Tighten the liftgate latch bolts (4) to 7 N.m (62 lb in).

  4. Connect the rod (2) to the lock cylinder. Refer to Lock Cylinder Replacement - Liftgate  .
  5. Connect the electrical connector (5) to the liftgate latch (3).
  6. Connect the latch cable (1).
  7. Install the liftgate trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Liftgate  .
  8. Close the liftgate.
