2004 Oldsmobile Bravada AWDSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the rod to the lift gate window latch.
  2. Install the lift gate window latch (1) to the lift gate (5).
  3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Install the bolts (2) to the lift gate window latch (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the lift gate window latch bolts (2) to 7.0 N.m (62 lb in).

  5. Install the rear lift gate window connector (4) to the lift gate (5).
  6. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  7. Install the bolts (3) to the lift gate window connector (4).

    Tighten:  Tighten the lift gate window connector bolts (3) to 7.0 N.m (62 lb in).

  8. Close the lift gate window.

  10. Open the lift gate.
  11. Install the lift gate window latch electrical connector retainer (3) to the lift gate (4).
  12. Connect the lift gate window latch electrical connector (2) to the lift gate harness (1).
  13. Install the lift gate trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Liftgate  .
  14. Close the lift gate.
