2004 Oldsmobile Bravada AWDSECTION Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  1. Install the shift lever assembly, then the 4 nuts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the nuts to 12 N.m (9 lb ft).

  2. Install the shift cable into the shift lever assembly, then turn the lock clockwise to lock.
  3. Connect the cable end of the shift cable to the shift lever assembly, then install the retaining clip.
  4. Install the select cable into the shift lever assembly, then turn the lock clockwise to lock.
  5. Connect the cable end of the select cable to the shift lever assembly, then install the retaining clip and washer.

  6. Install the front floor console. Refer to TRIM PLATE REPLACEMENT - FRONT FLOOR CONSOLE in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  7. Install the instrument compartment. Refer to COMPARTMENT REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  8. Install the center instrument trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) CENTER in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  9. Install the knob.
