Spring Bushing: Removal

2004 Oldsmobile Bravada AWDSECTION Removal

  1. Remove the spring assembly from the vehicle
  2. Remove the bushing from the spring assembly. Press the spring bushing from the spring in an arbor press. See Fig 1.
  3. Clean the spring eye of any remaining parts of the bushing.
  4. Remove any burrs from the spring eye that could cause the new bushing to bind when the bushing is installed.
