2004 Oldsmobile Bravada AWDSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the backup lamp sockets and harness to the lift gate applique.

  2. Install the lift gate applique lamp sockets to the lift gate applique.
  3. Install the license plate lamp sockets to the lift gate applique.
  4. Connect the lift gate applique electrical connector.

  5. Install the lift gate applique to the lift gate.
    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  6. Install the lift gate applique nuts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the lift gate applique nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  7. Install the wing nuts to the studs on the lift gate applique.
  8. Hand tighten the wing nuts.
  9. Install the lift gate trim panel access panel and engage the locking tabs. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Liftgate (Aztek)  or Trim Panel Replacement - Liftgate (Rendezvous) .
