- Remove the liftgate. Refer to Liftgate Replacement (Rendezvous) .
- Mark the location of the liftgate hinges with a grease pencil.
- Remove the nuts from the liftgate hinges.IMPORTANT: Mark the location of the shims right and/or left for reinstallation.
- Remove the liftgate hinges with the shims and seals from the vehicle.
