2004 Oldsmobile Bravada AWDSECTION Disabling Procedure

  1. Turn the steering wheel so that the vehicles wheels are pointing straight ahead.
  2. Turn OFF the ignition.
  3. Remove the key from the ignition switch.
  4. Remove the console accessory wiring junction block access hole cover.
    IMPORTANT: With the SIR Fuse removed and the ignition ON, the AIR BAG indicator illuminates. This is normal operation, and does not indicate an SIR system malfunction.
  5. Remove the SIR Fuse.

  7. Remove both connector position assurance (CPA) (3) from the LF/driver side impact module yellow connector (1) which is located under the driver seat.
  8. Disconnect the vehicle harness yellow connector (2) from the LF side impact module yellow connector (1).
