Disabling Procedure
2004 Oldsmobile Bravada AWDSECTION Disabling Procedure

- Turn the steering wheel so that the vehicles wheels are pointing straight ahead.
- Turn OFF the ignition.
- Remove the key from the ignition switch.
- Remove the console accessory wiring junction block access hole cover.IMPORTANT: With the SIR Fuse removed and the ignition ON, the AIR BAG indicator illuminates. This is normal operation, and does not indicate an SIR system malfunction.
- Remove the SIR Fuse.
- Remove the connector position assurance (CPA) from the inflatable restraint side impact sensor and pretensioner yellow 2-way harness connectors (4).
- Disconnect the inflatable restraint side impact sensor and pretensioner wiring harness connectors (4).
