2004 Oldsmobile Bravada AWDSECTION Disabling Procedure

IMPORTANT:
Refer to SIR Service Precautions .
- Turn the steering wheel so that the vehicle's wheels are pointing straight ahead.
- Turn OFF the ignition.
- Remove the key from the ignition switch.
- Remove the console accessory wiring junction block access hole cover.IMPORTANT: With the SIR Fuse removed and the ignition ON, the AIR BAG indicator illuminates. This is normal operation, and does not indicate an SIR system malfunction.
- Remove the SIR Fuse.
- Remove the LH insulator panel.
- Remove the connector position assurance (CPA) from the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil connector (1) located at the base of the steering column.
- Disconnect the steering wheel module coil connector.
