2004 Oldsmobile Bravada AWDSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 3 .

  3. Remove the inflatable restraint steering wheel module. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Replacement (Aztek)  or Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Replacement (Rendezvous) .
  4. Remove the steering wheel. Refer to Steering Wheel Replacement in Steering Wheel and Column.
  5. Remove the upper and lower shrouds. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement in Steering Wheel and Column.
  6. Remove the wire harness straps from the steering wheel column wire harness.
  7. Remove the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil (1)from the steering shaft (2).
