Removal Procedure
2004 Oldsmobile Bravada AWDSECTION Removal Procedure

- Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 9 .
- Remove the passenger front seat. Refer to Seat Replacement - Bucket in Seats.
- Remove the passenger front carpet retainer. Roll back the carpet.
- Remove the right side cowl trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Cowl Side in Interior Trim.
- Remove the right side insulator panel. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Right in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
- Remove the connector position assurance (CPA) (3) from the SDM wiring harness connector (2) on the inflatable restraint.
- Disconnect the SDM wiring harness connector (2) from the SDM (1).
- Remove the SDM mounting fasteners (1).
- Remove the SDM (2) from the vehicle.
