Installation Procedure
2004 Oldsmobile Bravada AWDSECTION Installation Procedure
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Pontiac Aztek and 2004 Buick Rendezvous. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- Remove any dirt, grease, and other contaminants from the mounting surface.
- Connect the sensor harness connector (3) to the sensor (1).
- Install the orange CPA (2) into the yellow sensor harness connector (3).
- Position the sensor on the upper radiator core support (3).
- Point the arrow on the sensor toward the front of the vehicle.
- Install the sensor bolts (1).
Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
- Secure the fascia to the radiator support.
- Install the retainers that hold the upper front bumper fascia to the radiator support.
- Install the grille. Refer to Fascia Grille Replacement (Aztek) or Fascia Grille Replacement (Rendezvous) in Bumpers.
- Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 1 .
