2004 Oldsmobile Bravada AWDSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the steering gear protection shield to the steering gear.

  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the steering gear protection shield retaining bolts (3) to the steering gear.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 180 N.m (132 lb ft).

  4. Lower the vehicle.
  5. Perform a four wheel alignment. Refer to Measuring Wheel Alignment (w/Rear Wheel Steering) or Measuring Wheel Alignment (w/o Rear Wheel Steering) in Wheel Alignment.
