Removal Procedure
2004 Oldsmobile Bravada AWDSECTION Removal Procedure
- Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure .
- Remove the accessory drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement - Accessory in Engine Mechanical - 4.8L, 5.3L, and 6.0L.
- Disconnect the generator electrical connector.
- Remove the generator cable (3) from the generator, perform the following:
- Slide the boot (1) down revealing the terminal stud.
- Remove the generator cable nut (2) from the terminal stud.
- Remove the generator cable (3).
- Remove the generator bolts.
- Remove the generator.
