1. Loosen cross brace assembly through bolts, Fig. 1.
2. Remove inboard strut nuts, then the brace assembly.
3. Remove remaining nut over oval strut mounting hole, Fig. 2.
4. Lift front of vehicle by body to separate strut from inner wheelhouse.
5. Drill two 11/32 inch holes at front and rear of oval strut mounting hole.
6. File excess metal to elongate original holes, then paint exposed metal with primer.
7. Lower front of vehicle.
8. Place cross brace assembly on inboard strut studs and install strut attaching nuts.
9. Set caster to specifications by moving strut forward or rearward as necessary.
10. Torque strut attaching nuts to 18 ft. lbs.
11. Torque cross brace bar through bolts to 21 ft. lbs.
