PURPOSE
A new type of Tire Pressure Monitor System (TPMS) transmitter is installed on affected vehicles produced after mid-July 2009. Removal and installation procedures for the new TPMS transmitter (p/n 4250B668) are different than for the previous transmitter (p/n 4250A225).
This bulletin updates service manual TPMS transmitter removal and installation procedures for affected vehicles.
