TITLE: VIN Registration
APPLIES TO: 05-on models
SERVICE TIP:
VIN Registration - 2005-on models. Whenever the ECM or PCM is replaced, the VIN must be registered by using the MUT-III. If the VIN is not registered, DTC P0630 will set and the MIL will turn on. On 2006 Galant and Eclipse, VIN registration is also required after ETACS replacement.
