CAUTION: Only fit springs in pairs with an identical BMW number.

Assignment of springs is according to vehicle type and, if necessary, special equipment, e.g. sport suspension, national version, launch date. Spring can be identified by removing and noting BMW number on end of spring or by contacting parts supplier. Operation is identical to replacing strut assembly. See STRUT ASSEMBLY  .
