32 32 170 Removing And Installing/Replacing Interlock Cable
Lift off shift lever cover and unfasten Interlock cable from shift tower.
Connect new Interlock cable to old cable with wire or a cord.
Installation:
Adjust Interlock cable.
Unfasten screws.
Disconnect plugs from gong and On-Board Diagnosis.
Remove instrument panel trim.
Remove lower section of steering column trim. Refer to 32 31 020 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING LOWER SECTION OF STEERING COLUMN COVER .
Unfasten Interlock cable on steering lock and remove, inserting new Interlock cable at the same time.
