Exhaust system
The exhaust system has bee adjusted for the engine S63 TOP and vehicle-specific. The cross-bank exhaust manifolds have major changes and are now designed as pipe elbow. The exterior shell for exhaust manifolds has been omitted. Decoupling elements are welded into the exhaust manifolds to balance the thermo mechanical movements inside of the exhaust manifolds. The exhaust system is routed with double pipes to the rear of the vehicle and ends in 4 round exhaust tailpipes. The engine S63
TOP has active exhaust flaps that are activated with vacuum.
