The belt drive has been adjusted for the higher engine speed. The belt pulley at the crankshaft has a smaller diameter. The drive belts have been modified accordingly.

The belt drive includes a main belt drive with alternator, coolant pump and power steering pump. The main belt drive is tensioned with a mechanical tensioning pulley.

The secondary belt drive includes the air conditioning compressor and is equipped with an elastic belt.
