Control unit DDE7: Notes
- Renewal of a control unit with which communication is still possible. Before the removal of the control unit, the individual data must be read out of the control unit with the programming system. This data is stored temporarily and must be restored in the new control unit after it has been installed.
- Renewal of a control unit with which no communication is possible any more. After renewal of the control unit, the injection quantity compensation must be performed. The codes of the injectors that are installed in the engine must be stored in the new control unit. To perform this operation, use service function Injection quantity compensation.
