51 11... Removing and installing/replacing holder for PDC/PMA/side view camera on left or right
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove SIDE VIEW CAMERA or the ultrasonic transducer, see 66 20 515 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING A FRONT LEFT (OUTSIDE) ULTRASONIC TRANSDUCER (PARK DISTANCE CONTROL) , 66 33 010 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING ULTRASONIC SENSORS FOR PARKING MANEUVERING ASSISTANT , 66 20 517 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING A FRONT CENTER LEFT (INSIDE) ULTRASONIC TRANSDUCER (PARK DISTANCE CONTROL) , 66 20 519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING A FRONT CENTER RIGHT (INSIDE) ULTRASONIC TRANSDUCER (PARK DISTANCE CONTROL) or 66 20 516 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING A FRONT RIGHT (OUTSIDE) ULTRASONIC TRANSDUCER (PARK DISTANCE CONTROL) .
- Pull off the holder from the bumper with a suitable tool (holder is secured with double-sided adhesive tape.)
Observe NOTES for bonding with adhesive tape.
PDC holder:
Insert ultrasonic sensor (1) in holder (2).
Clean bonding surface of bumper panel.
Mount holder (2) according to its installation position. Note the label on the holder (2).
Align visible notch (3) with mark (4) and bond holder (2).
Fasten holder (3) on all sides in area (5) with ADHESIVE SETK6 on bumper panel.
