  • Interrogate fault memories in Diagnosis System.
  • Check engine oil level, top up if necessary.
  • Fuel lines, hoses and tank(s):

    Visual inspection for routing, condition and leaks.

  • Check rim size, tire size and type and tire inflation pressure (also spare wheel).
  • Connections and pipes of brake system:

    Visual inspection for leaks, damage and correct position.

  • Remove spring blocker/reset transport mode.
  • Compare scope of order with scope of delivery.
  • Hand over Owner's Handbook/Manual(s), Service Booklet, BMW Group Service Contacts, Upkeep and Mobile Service brochures, two remote control master keys, a spare key and a key fob with vehicle.
  • Check nameplate and vehicle identification number.
  • Attach sticker for BMW Group Mobile Service.
  • Check battery.
  • Check lighting system, instrument lighting, heater blower, horn, headlight flasher and hazard warning flashers.
  • Check telltale and warning lamps
  • Check Control messages.
  • Wiper blades: Remove protective sleeves.
  • Check function of lighter.
  • Check automatic A/C, ventilation and fan.
  • Check function of central locking.
  • Radio: Check functions.
  • Switch through electrical consumers, check function of remote control and other optional extra fitted.
  • Check function of instruments.
