32 13 650 Removing And Installing/Replacing EH Converter For Servotronic
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove REINFORCEMENT PLATE .
- Draw off hydraulic fluid from oil reservoir.
- Remove front UNDERBODY PROTECTION .
- Release pressure and return line on steering gear.
- Remove ANTI-ROLL BAR at front axle support.
- Mark HYDRAULIC STEERING on front axle support and pull to the front.
Disconnect plug connection (1).
Unfasten screws (2).
Remove EH converter.
Installation note:
Clean side return orifice with compressed air.
Align EH converter to opening in hydraulic steering gear, press by hand into hydraulic steering gear up to stop, insert screws (2) and tighten down.
Tightening torque: 32 00 2AZ .
After installation:
- Fill and bleed HYDRAULIC SYSTEM .
